Born and raised in Buffalo, New York,

Trevor is the product of a single parent household, and is the eldest and only son of four children.

Trevor received a full academic scholarship to attend and graduate from The Nichols School, a private, college preparatory school in Buffalo.

He then earned his undergraduate degree in English literature from Hamilton College in upstate New York, and went on to earn his law degree from the Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C., in 1992.

Trevor has been practicing law for nearly 25 years.  He is president of The Fuller Law Firm, P.C.,

and specializes in employment litigation and business and commercial litigation.

Trevor is a member of the bar in

North Carolina, New York, and the

District of Columbia.

Trevor and his family moved to Charlotte

nearly 18 years ago. 

He is serving in his third term as a commissioner, and previously served for three years as

Chairman of the Board.

Previously, Trevor served as a member of

the Board of Directors of the

Mecklenburg County Bar, and for several

years also served on the bar's

Audit Committee. He is a past president

of the John S. Leary Association of Black Lawyers.

In addition, Trevor previously served on the Charlotte‐Mecklenburg Citizens’ Review Board, which reviews citizens’ complaints about police behavior, and he served for three years as a member of the Board of Governors

of the North Carolina Advocates for Justice.

Trevor has served on the boards of the

Charlotte Chamber, the Charlotte Regional Partnership, the Arts & Sciences Council,

and as a member of the Charlotte Global Vision Leadership Group, the Carolina Theatre

Advisory Committee, and the Central Piedmont Community College President's Council.

He now serves on the board of directors

of the North Carolina Association of

County Commissioners, and is the co-chair

of association’s Legislative Goals Steering Committee.

Trevor is married to Camille Davidson,

an attorney and law professor, and

they have two teen-aged children.
